(AM68-32R) Our Aston Martin was well maintained and cared for and had a recent service and detail completed by Classic Showcase...

    History
Recent cosmetic restoration, mechanical service and full detail performed by Classic Showcase. The car became famous in James Bond films. During David Brown's twenty-five year stint with Aston Martin he created the DB6 which is arguably the pinnacle of his design history with the marquis. They were manufactured from 1965 to 1970. It followed the popular DB5 with improved aerodynamics and a new rear end. Most of the recognizable points include the return of the front-door quarter windows, an oil-cooler air scoop low on the front end, quarter-bumpers at each corner and an increase in the overall length of approximately two inches. This Aston Marin arrived to US shores in the late 1970s and comes complete with some paperwork available about its importation and the first owner.

Our Aston Martin has always been well maintained and cared for. It is a fabulous example with a tremendous patina of originality. This DB6 has benefitted by a recent restoration by Classic Showcase which included paint, body, color sand and buff, full service and some mechanical systems rebuilt. This fine motorcar has recently been refinished in its original DuBonnet Red paint. It has also received a recent complete new interior, restored Wabasto sunroof, new stainless steel exhaust system, bright work re-plated, hydraulics replaced as needed, cooling system service, all hoses replaced, distributor and carburetors re-built, transmission service, and detail inside and out including the undercarriage. It is a very respectable example. The fit and finish are excellent and it is a very collectible model Aston Martin in a rich and elegant color combination. The interior has new natural tan Garrett leather throughout. A rare option, the Wabasto sunroof is large enough to allow an airy open feeling of a true sports car. This vehicle is also equipped with the rare power steering option. The instruments have been rebuilt by the professionals at Nisonger. The 6 cylinder engine was recently rebuilt. It has received a new electronic fuel pump, the brake system was overhauled and the booster was rebuilt. The exhaust manifold is ceramic coated for better heat management and the car features glass headlight covers. This is a much loved addition to the historic Aston line and certainly an outstanding example of classic elegance.
