1961 Volkswagen 23 Window Micro Bus Deluxe

History

A Southern California original vehicle with a roof rack.Everything was restored and/or replaced to like new condition with many NOS (new old stock) parts. Factory sliding sunroof, custom luggage/surf rack. Seating for nine people, jail bars on rear windows. Deluxe features: chrome ashtray, original Sapphire pushbutton am radio knobs, mud flaps, coat hooks, grab rails, polished deco trim, chrome front VW emblem.

Mechanical

Complete restoration by Classic Showcase, engine rebuilt with all proper parts, many NOS (new old stock) parts, gas tank epoxy sealed, all new bushings, seals, brakes, rebuilt transmission, new clutch system.

Body & Interior

Body stripped to bare metal, fitted, metal worked, painted, color sanded, and buffed to the finish you see on it today, the fit is excellent.

New interior (exact copy created to match original, very few produced), seat frames powder coated, German carpet in cargo area, rubber mats, all new rubber, seals and grommets.
